Waveguide Adjustable Shorts
These adjustable waveguide shorts are
instruments designed for terminating a waveguide transmission line at various
points by a short circuit. These units utilize a non-contacting type short
circuit.
In the -61 Series units, the short circuit location is adjusted by means
of a standard micrometer head or digital readout which also indicates relative
positions of the short in increments of .001 in. A locking means is provided.
The -62 Series units utilize a smooth operating knob control which is
provided with a locking device. Alternate materials and flanges are
available. See flange section. Units are finished in instrument gray
enamel.
